The Role
As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will:
- Provide competent HS& E advice across a multi-disciplined business environment, including M&E and construction-related repair and maintenance services for Social Housing and Local Authority clients
- Ensure robust health, safety, and environmental practices are identified, documented, and implemented throughout the organisation
- Support Liberty Group in exceeding statutory and contractual obligations across a diverse risk landscape
- Work closely with the Director of HSEQ and operational teams, with specific responsibility for the Liberty H&C business unit
This role offers agile working, but you will need to attend offices across the South and occasionally travel to our head office in Knowsley.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in domestic gas-fired heating installation, repairs, and maintenance (including renewables), as well as domestic electrical installation
- Knowledge of fire safety management, construction safety, and environmental management (qualifications in these areas are desirable)
- Essential: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
- Preferred: Level 5/6 HS& E qualification
- Grad IOSH (working towards), with willingness to achieve CMIOSH
- Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001)
Training will be provided in any weaker areas for the right candidate.
