Financial Accountant (FTC) at Liberty
Location: Knowsley | Salary: Competitive
Are you an experienced Financial Accountant based in or near Knowsley? Ready to support the Assistant Financial Controller in all areas of audit, tax, treasury and compliance and assist with the integration of Access Coins?

Your Role:
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Agree audit timetables and deliverables
- Ensure co-ordination of internal audits with department heads
- Timely reporting of audit deadlines
- Co-ordinate and manage the year end audit process, including the year end timetable and communicating this to the wider finance team
- Collate and upload audit deliverables via the audit portal within agreed timeframes
- Assist with preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Corporation tax compliance, completion of tax deliverable schedules
- Ensure tax filing deadlines are met
- Ensure full compliance obligations are met regarding taxes, CIS, VAT, PAYE & PSA
- Maintenance of the group cash forecast
- Balance sheet reconciliations for all companies within the group
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations for any audit and tax related GL accounts
- Assist with the integration from Access Dimensions to Access Coins
What We Need from You:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred)
- Strong Excel (Intermediate) & MS Office skills
- Practical audit tax & VAT experience
- 2 years post qualification experience
- Experience with Access Coins
- Proven experience of working in a busy office environment
