Your Role:
We are seeking a skilled, qualified and motivated electrician to work on renewable energy installations, including:
Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (Desirable)
Carry out all aspects of electrical works to a high standard.
Efficiently test and commission electrical installations, completing all relevant certification
Strong ability in fault finding process
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Work confidently with DC and AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and perform fault finding.
Safety conscious, adhering to all HSE protocols
Able to read and understand RAMS
Effectively communicate with team members
Maintain accurate records of work performed
What we need from you:
Essential
You have served a recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/ or appropriate full electrical qualifications (Essential)
Must hold a 18th Edition I.EE
2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspecition
AM2
ECS Gold Card
Passion for sustainability and innovation
MCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)
A full UK driving license under 7 points
Own a full set of tools
Desirable
Experience in solar PV or renewables preferred (training available)
MCS Accreditation knowledge or experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme, PAS 2030 familiarity (for roles involving retrofit or funded work) G98/G99 understanding (grid connection regulations) Solar PV Qualifications, including one of the below:
City & Guilds 2399 β Solar Photovoltaic Installation (now discontinued but still recognised)
LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar PV Systems
BPEC Solar PV Installer Course
