As part of our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a Head of London Sales to join our fantastic team. In this newly created role you will lead the development and execution of our London sales strategy, develop a high performing team, and drive new business opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the continued development and execution of the Liberty Wines sales strategy aligned with company growth targets.
- Lead and manage the London sales team, providing clear strategic direction and support to drive performance and contribute to broader company goals.
- Drive achievement of the London sales team's revenue and margin budget.
- Enhance sales performance by optimising our prospective customer database, analysing outreach, web enquiries, and lead progression to support strategic decision-making and growth.
- Provide actionable market insights and share feedback with the wider business to inform strategic decision making.
- Ensure the London sales team's priorities are aligned with the Company's objectives through close collaboration with other departments.
- Work closely with regional directors and head of sales to share ideas, drive alignment and implement best practices across all regions.
- Collate, analyse, and summarise monthly performance data across London accounts to inform commercial priorities.
- Organise and lead monthly team sales meetings to communicate key updates and build the team's capability.
- Work closely with the Portfolio team to ensure our key producers achieve the breadth and depth of distribution they require.
- Maintain and develop existing customer accounts to achieve FY budgeted revenue and margin targets.
- Manage expenses to budget.
About You
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving long-term account growth across key customers.
- A strategic mindset, skilled at identifying market trends and growth opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen skilled at analysing sales data and using insights to inform decisions and drive business performance.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with existing customers.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and support sales teams in achieving growth targets.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and coach sales teams, driving accountability, high performance and individual and team development.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
- Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams and positively influencing stakeholders to drive results.
- Strong wine empathy and ability to demonstrate wine knowledge, preferably at WSET Diploma level.
