We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate wine educator to deliver engaging, high‑quality training both internally and externally, while helping to develop and manage our training programmes and shape the strategic growth of our Liberty Wines Academy. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing customer knowledge, supporting sales effectiveness and strengthening Liberty Wines’ reputation as an industry leader in wine education.

What will you be doing:

  • Deliver and manage our WSET Level 1 and 2 courses, ensuring high quality, engaging learning experiences for our customers.
  • Teach the Liberty Wines Academy including bespoke courses for customers created from Liberty Wines Academy modules.
  • One day Liberty Wines Academy Courses– delivering all modules to both mixed customer and specific customer groups.
  • Liberty Wines Academy Series– leading specialised sessions focused on specific topics such as Country or grape variety.
  • Work closely with the Head of Education and Senior Educators to design, develop and deliver large‑scale training programmes for national customer groups.
  • Deliver engaging WSET Level 2 training for Liberty Wine’s team members.
  • Support Level 3 and Diploma candidates in developing their tasting and theory practices.
  • Research industry innovations and contribute to strategic plans that enhance Liberty Wines education offering.
  • Support the creation of new Liberty Wines Academy courses and modules.
  • Monitor competitor education programmes to ensure Liberty Wines remains market‑leading.
  • Support the development of engaging and effective e‑learning modules.
  • Maintain Education inbox as required.
  • Manage WSET administration for level 1 and 2 courses, including registering/ordering exams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with WSET.
  • Collaborate with the Liberty Wines Sales team to leverage our education courses and e‑learning to increase customer sales and service.
  • Use reporting tools to track and evaluate training activity.

The role will involve travel around the UK and overnight stays.

About you:

  • WSET Diploma and WSET approved educator.
  • Highly organised and self‑motivated.
  • Strong communicator and a confident and engaging presenter.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible, responsive, and efficient.
  • Full UK driving licence.
