Our client is a fast-growing business operating within the sports betting and gaming sector, focused on delivering engaging customer experiences through innovation, data and technology. They are looking for a commercially minded Junior Retention Analyst to join their growing team and help drive player engagement, retention and customer value across sportsbook products.

The Role:

Working closely with CRM, marketing and commercial teams, you will support the analysis of player behaviour, promotional performance and customer retention activity across sportsbook and gaming products. You will help identify trends, opportunities and insights that improve customer engagement, reduce churn and maximise player lifetime value. This is a hands-on role within a growing business where products, processes and campaigns are still evolving. There is a strong operational element to the position, including campaign monitoring, reporting, spreadsheet work and real-time CRM activity. The role would suit someone analytical, detail-oriented and commercially curious, who enjoys working with data but also understands sportsbook customers and the wider betting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse sportsbook customer behaviour and retention trends
  • Support CRM and lifecycle marketing campaigns through reporting and insight
  • Identify player churn risks and reactivation opportunities
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotions, bonuses and free bet campaigns
  • Assist with customer segmentation and player value analysis
  • Produce regular dashboards and performance reports
  • Work with internal teams to optimise customer journeys and engagement
  • Support A/B testing and campaign analysis
  • Track key retention KPIs and customer performance metrics
  • Monitor live campaigns and troubleshoot issues where required
  • Support retention activity across sportsbook and casino products
