Commercial Property Paralegal Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire Hours: Full-time (9:00 am – 5:15pm) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Opportunity: We’re working with a highly respected, long-established law firm with offices across Lincolnshire and the Midlands. Following recent acquisitions and internal expansion, the firm is actively investing in its people and creating clear progression pathways across all departments. This opportunity sits within the Commercial Property team in Stamford, where the firm is looking to bring on a bright and motivated Paralegal to support fee earners on a broad range of matters. The firm is expanding across the region and has long-term development at its core Paralegals are viewed as integral fee earners, with real responsibility and client exposure There’s a commitment to internal progression, from paralegal to trainee, and beyond You’ll benefit from close mentoring, a strong learning culture, and ongoing support What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll support on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including: Client liaison and assisting with day-to-day enquiries Leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals Drafting and approving leases, rent deposit deeds, and licences Conducting title investigations, searches, and preparing reports Liaising with agents, councils, utility providers, and other solicitors Preparing and reviewing auction packs Managing exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities (including SDLT and Land Registry) Ensuring financial balances are cleared and files are closed You’ll also be encouraged to get involved in marketing and business development activities, helping the department grow and build lasting relationships. What They’re Looking For Law degree or equivalent work experience Previous exposure to commercial property is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided. Proactive, organised, and interested in building a long-term career in this area of law.
