We’re working with a purpose-led organisation looking for a Head of Data Delivery to lead a major step forward in how data is delivered, used and embedded across the business. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can bring together people, platforms and priorities, and turn data ambition into practical business value.
The role involves leading the delivery of modern, scalable and secure data platform capabilities, working across data engineering, modelling, analytics and platform best practice. The brief is to bring structure to a broad delivery agenda, shape a clear roadmap, and ensure the right things are being built in the right order for the wider business.
This role sits at the heart of a wider data transformation. You’ll be connecting business need with technical delivery, helping modernise the data environment, and ensuring change lands properly in day-to-day operations rather than living as a separate project on paper.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a cross-functional squad, managing delivery priorities, shaping backlog and roadmap activity, and ensuring data solutions are aligned to wider organisational goals.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, helping to create a joined-up operating model and keeping delivery practical, focused and commercially sensible.
- Playing a key leadership role in building capability, improving ways of working, reviewing solution design, and creating the conditions for a proactive, technically strong and collaborative team.
