Experienced Residential Conveyancer Location:

Lincolnshire

My client, a highly respected law firm with over 75 years of distinguished service, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their thriving property team. This prestigious practice has established itself as one of the region's leading legal services providers, delivering comprehensive legal and wealth management solutions across Lincolnshire and the broader Midlands area.

The Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions whilst contributing to the continued growth of a well-established conveyancing department. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability in handling complex residential matters from instruction through to completion, whilst maintaining the highest standards of client care.

Working within a supportive team environment, you'll be responsible for developing and managing your own caseload whilst actively contributing to business development initiatives and cross-departmental referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Management: • Handle a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion • Prepare and commission necessary property searches and enquiries • Produce standard contract documentation and handle all related correspondence • Manage exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities including SDLT and registration procedures • Ensure all financial balances are cleared before file closure

Client Relations & Business Development: • Provide exceptional client service throughout the transaction process • Generate new instructions and convert enquiries into active matters • Maintain strong relationships with local estate agents and intermediaries • Identify opportunities for cross-referrals to other practice areas • Deliver regular updates to all stakeholders throughout transactions

Professional Standards: • Maintain current knowledge of conveyancing law and practice developments • Achieve fee income targets in line with agreed objectives • Ensure accurate time recording and efficient billing procedures • Follow established workflows within the case management system • Adhere to all quality and risk management procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Substantial experience as a Residential Conveyancer • Proven track record of managing busy residential caseloads independently • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish • Excellent computer literacy including case management systems experience • Comprehensive knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors' Account Rules • Outstanding communication skills with clients, colleagues, and third parties • Strong organisational and time management capabilities • Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy

Highly Desirable:

• Legal Executive or Solicitor qualification • Previous experience with case management systems • Demonstrated ability in business development and client generation
