We are working with a highly regarded specialist tax advisory firm looking to appoint an Associate to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a high-calibre practice made up of lawyers from leading City and national firms. The team operates with the flexibility and autonomy of a boutique, whilst advising on the quality of work typically associated with much larger practices.
The role will involve a broad mix of transactional and advisory tax work, with particular exposure to private equity, M&A, corporate structuring and high-growth businesses.
You will work closely with senior tax specialists on a range of complex matters, including:
- Advising on the tax aspects of M&A, private equity and corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating tax covenants, warranties and disclosure provisions
- Supporting on reorganisations, restructures and demergers
- Advising on employee incentive schemes including EMI, CSOP and growth shares
- Advising on EIS/SEIS investments and tax-efficient structuring
- Handling property tax matters including SDLT and VAT
The team regularly works alongside corporate law firms, accountancy firms and business owners, providing commercially focused advice on live transactions across a variety of sectors.

- Experience gained at a reputable City, national or specialist practice
- Exposure to areas such as M&A, share incentives, reorganisations or structuring work
