We are seeking a Senior People Advisor to join our clients dynamic HR team, supporting the London and US offices. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities, fostering a positive work environment, and providing expert advice on HR matters. The ideal candidate will be office-based on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive induction programmes for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company. Prepare and distribute induction materials and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Create and distribute monthly HR newsletters to keep employees informed about company updates, policy changes, and upcoming events. Collaborate with various departments to gather content and ensure the newsletter is engaging and informative.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries. Provide timely and accurate responses, escalating complex issues to senior HR management when necessary.
  • Offer expert HR advice to office-based employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Assist managers with HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks and projects. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data is up-to-date.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role, preferably within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
