We are working with a fast-growing and highly successful iGaming business that is expanding its UK Sports Betting division and is looking to hire a Sports Retention Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing retention team and take ownership of sportsbook retention campaigns across multiple brands and markets. The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to senior leadership, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a rapidly growing organisation.
The Role:
- Working closely with the Head of Retention, you will be responsible for developing, executing and optimising customer retention strategies across sportsbook and casino products.
- You will own the customer journey from onboarding through to reactivation, using data and customer insights to drive engagement, retention and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage multi-channel CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications and onsite messaging.
- Develop and execute sportsbook and casino promotional campaigns.
- Own the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation.
- Utilise CRM and automation platforms to scale campaign activity and improve performance.
- Analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Conduct A/B testing and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, design, development and compliance teams.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and customer engagement strategies.
- Leverage AI tools and technology to enhance campaign delivery, content creation and segmentation.
- Support the development of retention strategies aimed at increasing customer lifetime value and reducing churn.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within iGaming, Sports Betting or Online Gaming retention/CRM.
- Hands-on experience managing customer lifecycle and retention campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and ideally Power BI.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Smartico or similar.
- Good understanding of the UK betting and gaming market.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
