We are working with a specialist advisory organisation to appoint an experienced consultant to support the delivery of complex client projects across human rights, sustainability and responsible business programmes. This role would suit someone with a strong consulting background who enjoys working closely with clients, leading projects, supporting teams and helping organisations navigate complex challenges. Whilst experience within human rights, sustainability or ESG-related environments would be advantageous, consultancy capability, commercial awareness and project leadership are the primary requirements.
The successful individual will play an important role in supporting project delivery, overseeing quality, mentoring colleagues and helping to ensure client engagements are delivered to a consistently high standard. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support client engagements from project initiation through to delivery
- Provide oversight and quality assurance across multiple projects and workstreams
- Support the planning, management and delivery of consulting assignments
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Mentor and support junior consultants and project teams
- Provide guidance and practical solutions to complex client challenges
- Contribute to project design, problem-solving and strategic thinking
- Support resource planning and project prioritisation
- Contribute to business development activities where appropriate
Key Requirements:
- Approximately 5+ years' experience within consulting, advisory or professional services environments
- Strong project management and client relationship management skills
- Experience leading or overseeing complex project delivery
- Commercial awareness and understanding of consulting environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure
- Experience mentoring, coaching or developing colleagues
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience within sustainability, human rights, ESG, responsible business, international development or related fields would be advantageous
Location & Flexibility:
- Hybrid working arrangement with a London base
- Open to full-time, part-time or consultancy arrangements
- Minimum commitment of three days per week preferred
