Interim Commercial Contracts Solicitor (8-Week Assignment) Location: London (Hybrid 1-2 days per week in the office) Start Date: ASAP / Next Week Day Rate: Competitive We are partnering with a leading international technology business to appoint an Interim Commercial Contracts Solicitor on an initial 8-week assignment. The successful candidate will support the business with the review, drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, whilst providing pragmatic legal advice to stakeholders across the organisation. The team is looking for someone who is particularly strong on commercial contract negotiations and can confidently navigate complex contractual provisions, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements. Advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations and risk. Lead negotiations on key commercial terms with customers, suppliers and business partners. Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks within contractual arrangements. Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to support business objectives. Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure contracts align with operational and commercial requirements. Assist with ad hoc commercial legal matters as required. Strong experience in commercial contracts gained either in private practice or in-house. ~ Excellent understanding of contract law and commercial risk management. ~ Able to work independently and manage a busy workload with minimal supervision. ~ Experience within technology, software, SaaS, fintech or other fast-paced commercial sectors would be advantageous but is not essential. ~ Available to start immediately or at short notice.
