The Client Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service within the brokerage by supporting the end-to-end client experience. This position ensures clients receive timely, accurate, and professional assistance while maintaining strong relationships that promote account growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary support contact for clients and as a central communication point across the team.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships by providing responsive and proactive service.
- Address and resolve client concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Service & Support
- Process certificates of insurance, ID cards, binders, and other policy documentation.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries, premium audits, and claims-related questions.
- Ensure prompt follow-up and consistent communication on all client requests.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Producers/Account Executives to support retention and account development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Support onboarding of new clients and assist with transitioning accounts.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in an insurance brokerage or agency (personal or commercial lines).
- Solid understanding of insurance terminology, coverage forms, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Acturis preferred.
Preferred
- Insurance license (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health).
- Experience managing a book of business.
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and insurer appetites.
