Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for a flexible, fully remote role with a highly respected claimant-focused practice?

We’re working with a leading employment law firm that advises employees and senior executives across the UK. They’re now looking for a Locum Solicitor to join their growing team, handling pre-tribunal and settlement agreement work. There’s no tribunal advocacy involved – this is all about high-quality advisory work, negotiation, and helping clients reach the best possible outcome.

The role is remote, with the occasional in-person meeting in London. You’ll need to be based in England and able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week, though there’s the option to increase to full-time if you’re open to it.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising employees and senior executives on all aspects of employment law, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, and whistleblowing
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements and pre-action correspondence
  • Assessing the merits of claims and providing clear, practical advice
  • Managing your own caseload of claimant work with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Liaising with employers, ACAS, and third parties to progress settlements smoothly

What They’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years’ PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience advising employees, particularly on settlement agreements and pre-tribunal matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and remotely, managing your own workload
  • Based in England with flexibility to attend occasional meetings in London

What’s on Offer:

  • Fully remote working with complete flexibility on hours
  • Minimum 15 hours per week (option to go full-time)
  • Competitive hourly or daily rate
  • Supportive, specialist team with a strong claimant reputation
