Our client is a highly regarded specialist legal practice seeking an experienced Locum Employment Lawyer to support their dedicated team. This fully remote, part-time position offers a senior practitioner the opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload with an exclusive focus on claimant representation.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload on behalf of individual claimants. Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a broad spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and advising on complex settlement agreements and executive exit packages.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and schedules of loss.
- Providing clear, empathetic, and commercially sound advice to individuals navigating workplace disputes.
- Managing cases efficiently from initial instruction through to resolution within a structured daily framework.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded employment law specialist who meets the following criteria:
- A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 10 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) specialising in employment law.
- A proven track record of handling all-round employment matters, with extensive, demonstrable experience in claimant-side work.
- Strong technical legal skills and the ability to progress matters independently without close supervision.
- Exceptional communication and client care skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
