Junior Legal Counsel β Corporate & Commercial
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

We are hiring a Junior Legal Counsel (2-4 years PQE) to join a privately owned investment and development company focused on the hospitality and real estate sectors. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of legal matters and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a small, high-performing team. The successful candidate will work across corporate transactions, commercial contracts, and real estate matters, supporting the legal function at both operational and strategic levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including supplier contracts, consultancy agreements, and NDAs.
- Assist with corporate governance, internal structuring, and transactional work, including M&A and joint ventures.
- Provide legal support on real estate matters such as acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements.
- Advise on brand protection, intellectual property, and commercial risk.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business and help maintain compliance.
- Manage external counsel relationships on specialist legal issues when needed.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2β4 yearsβ PQE in corporate or commercial law.
- A background in real estate, venture capital, or intellectual property is beneficial but not essential.
- Clear, concise communicator who is comfortable dealing with colleagues at all levels.
- Practical and commercially aware, with good judgement and attention to detail.
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of matters in a lean legal team.
