We’re working with a purpose-led organisation looking for a Head of Data Delivery to lead a major step forward in how data is delivered, used and embedded across the business. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can bring together people, platforms and priorities, and turn data ambition into practical business value.
You’ll lead the delivery of modern, scalable and secure data platform capabilities, working across data engineering, modelling, analytics and platform best practice. The brief is to bring structure to a broad delivery agenda, shape a clear roadmap, and make sure the right things are being built in the right order for the wider business. This role sits at the heart of a wider data transformation.
You’ll be connecting business need with technical delivery, helping modernise the data environment, and making sure change lands properly in day-to-day operations rather than living as a separate project on paper.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll lead a cross-functional squad, manage delivery priorities, shape backlog and roadmap activity, and make sure data solutions are aligned to wider organisational goals.
- You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, helping to create a joined-up operating model and keeping delivery practical, focused and commercially sensible.
- You’ll also play a key leadership role in building capability, improving ways of working, reviewing solution design, and creating the conditions for a proactive, technically strong and collaborative team.
They are looking for someone with a strong track record of delivering data or data platform solutions in a complex environment. You’ll be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, managing third-party or supplier relationships, and working across a mix of technical and senior business stakeholders. You’ll bring sound judgement, a clear head and the credibility to influence at senior level.
