Liberty Towers is recruiting on behalf of a growing asset manager based near Liverpool Street, seeking a bright and ambitious Graduate Business Development Trainee to support its commercial and business development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional who is organised, confident, personable and keen to build a career in business development, sales and financial services.

You will work closely with an experienced commercial team, helping to manage client and prospect activity, support meetings and follow-ups, prepare key materials, and ensure the team delivers a professional service to clients, prospects and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the business development and sales team with day-to-day coordination and administration
  • Maintaining accurate client, prospect and CRM information
  • Helping organise meetings, calls, follow-up activity and sales pipelines
  • Preparing presentations, documents and basic reports
  • Coordinating diaries and arranging internal and external meetings
  • Assisting with client events, networking activity and industry events
  • Supporting with travel arrangements and expenses
  • Responding to general enquiries and directing requests appropriately
  • Liaising with colleagues across the wider business
  • Providing general commercial and administrative support where required

About You

  • Graduate calibre, with a genuine interest in business, sales, asset management or financial services
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Confident and professional when communicating with clients and colleagues
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving commercial environment
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive, proactive and willing to learn
  • Previous experience in administration, sales support, client services, internships or office-based roles would be beneficial
