The Department
The team supports founders, entrepreneurs and private capital owners on structuring their business and personal affairs to maximise efficiency, growth and long-term preservation of wealth.
Work includes designing and modernising trading, investment and holding structures, providing day-to-day commercial advice, and acting as general counsel on ongoing operational and transactional matters. Clients span industries including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, brands, hospitality, financial services and media.
The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate (1-3 PQE) with strong UK tax experience and commercial acumen. This role offers the chance to take on client-facing responsibility, lead projects and advise both founders and businesses on complex domestic and international matters. The team is growing, with excellent prospects for progression.
What You Will Be Doing
- Advising domestic and international businesses on UK corporate tax matters
- Working on cross-border business and investment structuring
- Providing integrated tax advice alongside commercial, legal and regulatory considerations
- Drafting tax deeds, warranties and finance documentation
- Advising on tax issues arising in corporate and transactional matters
- Supporting on the design and implementation of business structures
- Acting as a trusted adviser to founders, entrepreneurs and management teams
Key Skills and Experience
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales), 1-3 yearsβ PQE
- Demonstrable experience in corporate tax and transactional matters
- Strong knowledge of cross-border corporate tax structuring
- Excellent drafting, technical and research skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to handle client contact early on
- Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-driven
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
- Proficient in Word, Excel and relevant legal systems
