Experienced Commercial Property Paralegal Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Opportunity: We’re working on behalf of a highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across Lincolnshire and the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join their Stamford office and play a key role in a thriving, forward-thinking department. You’ll work closely with fee earners and partners, take on real responsibility, and be supported in your long-term development and progression. Why Join? The firm is in an exciting period of expansion and investment in talent Progression is taken seriously, with clear internal pathways and annual reviews Many of the current leadership team have progressed from junior roles Paralegals are trusted with high-quality work and client responsibility A supportive, open culture with a focus on training and mentorship Role Overview: As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will support the wider team on a broad range of matters including: Liaising with clients and handling day-to-day enquiries Supporting leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals Drafting and reviewing leases and associated documents Undertaking due diligence (title investigation, enquiries, searches) Managing liaison with agents, utility providers, and local authorities Preparing auction packs and transaction documents Overseeing exchange, completion and post-completion processes including SDLT, Companies House, and Land Registry Ensuring financial balances are cleared and files are properly closed You will also contribute to the department’s marketing activity, supporting efforts to strengthen client relationships and attract new business. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality service to existing clients Support partners and fee earners in business development activity Generate fee income in line with agreed targets Keep up to date with legal and regulatory changes in the commercial property space Maintain accurate time records for all client and internal work Adhere to the firm’s quality and risk management procedures Ensure sound financial control, including billing and collection of monies on account Who They’re Looking For: This role would suit an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal who is confident working independently and as part of a team.
