We are working with a highly regarded independent insurance business based in the heart of Mayfair that is looking to appoint an experienced Insurance Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional with strong technical knowledge who enjoys managing client relationships and wants to work with a specialist portfolio across Real Estate, Property and Construction.
You will take responsibility for an established client base, acting as a trusted adviser and working closely with insurers to ensure clients receive the right cover, terms and service.
The role will include:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Building strong relationships with property owners, developers and construction businesses
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business enquiries
- Reviewing policy wordings, coverage and technical requirements
- Negotiating with insurers to secure appropriate and competitive terms
- Identifying opportunities to develop and grow existing accounts
- Providing a consistently high level of technical and client service
We are looking for:
- A minimum of 3 years' commercial insurance experience
- Very strong technical insurance knowledge
- A solid understanding of commercial insurance products, policy wordings and coverage
- Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of commercial clients
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A professional, confident and commercially minded approach
Experience within Real Estate, Property or Construction insurance would be highly desirable. This is an office-based role in Mayfair and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit professional team and takes pride in delivering technically strong insurance advice and excellent client service.
