We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading law firm based in Northamptonshire, who are seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor (or equivalent) to join their well-established and highly regarded Childcare team – one of the largest in the East Midlands. The role will be based at either their Leicester or Northampton office. This is a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career within a team that has real depth, a strong reputation, and continued growth. You will be representing children across England, working on complex and rewarding cases where your advice and advocacy make an impact on society.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You will ideally have 5+ years' PQE, Children’s Panel accreditation, or be working towards it, and will be working on a wide range of childcare legal proceedings including:
    • Care proceedings
    • EPO's
    • Special guardianship and adoption matters
    • Private law applications to include rule 16.4 instructions
    • Separation representation of competent children
  • A current guardian following would be welcomed!
  • The ability to offer clear, practical advice while offering compassionate support and strong advocacy experience are essential qualities required for this role.

Salary: £55,000+
