Butler / Household Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Butler to take a leading role within a prestigious private household in Northwest London. This is a key position requiring a confident individual with proven leadership skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a calm, discreet demeanour. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in similar UHNW settings—whether in private residences, top-tier hospitality, or formal service—and will be comfortable overseeing a team while delivering seamless, high-standard service to the principals and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily household operations and staff, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for service and guest-facing activities.
• Oversee both formal and informal table service, wardrobe management, and guest hospitality.
• Supervise housekeeping and liaise with the chef, chauffeur, and estate manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Organise, attend, and serve at private functions, dinners, and events, while maintaining the utmost discretion.
• Maintain household inventories and supplies, and liaise with vendors and external contractors as needed.
• Uphold strict standards of privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Butler in a senior private household role.
• A strong, confident leader with excellent communication and team management skills.
• Highly discreet, reliable, and composed under pressure.
• Exceptional attention to detail and service quality.
• Comfortable delivering both formal and informal service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• UK work permit or the right to work in the UK.
• Driving licence preferred.
