An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial New Business Executive / Director to join a growing and ambitious insurance brokerage. This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a results-driven individual with a strong background in commercial insurance sales.
You will play a key role in driving growth by building and developing a portfolio of commercial clients. With access to an existing prospect base, you will also be expected to generate your own leads through networking, referrals, and market engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow a book of commercial insurance business
- Generate new business opportunities through networking and self-sourced leads
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver against agreed sales targets within a regulated environment
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to identify new prospects
- Provide expert advice on a range of commercial insurance products
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance new business
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong knowledge of corporate insurance products, including exposure to the Lloyd’s market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Confident networker with strong relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK with flexibility to travel
- CII qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) or working towards
- Competitive base salary with uncapped earning potential
