Are you looking to kick start your career as a Roofer? Are you based in or near Salford, Greater Manchester? We are looking for an Apprentice Roofer to work on a 24-month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Your Role:

  • Attend training and work toward your trade qualification.
  • Carry out minor and major planned roofing repairs.
  • Pointing and small amounts of Bricklaying.
  • Fit fascia and soffits.
  • Communicate with clients to arrange and carry out work.
  • Leave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobs.
  • Support colleagues and build relationships across the business.
  • Safely operate tools, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Keep accurate records of work and materials used.
  • Follow safety procedures, including reporting hazards.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attend College as required and ensure College work is completed and submitted on time.
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines.

What We Need From You:

  • Have a genuine interest in working in Roofing
  • Have a GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English (C grade or grade 4 and above, or functional skills level 2)
  • Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualifications
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules
  • Excellent customer service skills and punctuality
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
