The Job holder is required to work as part of a team, where Team members must be able to understand safe working procedures and apply recognised safety practices, to each task they are undertaking and ensure other team members behave accordingly., The role operates on a 7-day rota. Working hours are 7 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday and 6 am to 2 pm weekends.

The Job holder should be apprentice trained and must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Electrical inspection and repair work in a heavy industrial environment preferably involving High Voltage work and fault finding.

The Job holder is required to work as part of a team, where Team members must be able to understand safe working procedures and apply recognised safety

Team members must be self-motivated and highly flexible. They are required to work unsupervised and deliver a first-class customer service in accordance with departmental goals and Key performance indicators.

HV & LV Networks, Circuit Breakers, and Protection Equipment

Earthing Systems

HV & LV Permit to Work Systems

Electrical testing methods and fault-finding skills.

The job holder should have a methodical approach to work, with attention to detail and accuracy when completing inspection paperwork, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, and effective verbal communication.
