To support Liberty Specialty Markets' marketing activities with a focus on event execution across a diverse portfolio of industry conferences, bespoke broker panels, and targeted networking events across the UK and European markets. This role will also provide operational marketing support to the team.
We are a collaborative global Marketing team supporting Liberty's businesses across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Partnering with colleagues across LII, LSM, GTS and LM Re, we shape how Liberty engages with brokers, clients and partners, helping to strengthen our brand and reputation in the market. Combining strategic thinking, creativity, brand expertise and market insight, we deliver impactful campaigns, engaging content and effective communications that support business priorities and drive meaningful results. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the marketing team, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing plans, with particular focus on events and broker engagement.
- Support the team with planning, executing and monitoring marketing initiatives to deadline.
- Evaluate data and create reports in order to monitor campaign and event efficiency, analyse trends, opportunities and ROI.
- Manage end-to-end event execution across the UK and EU, coordinating logistics, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver conferences, broker panels, and networking events with consistent messaging.
- Create promotional campaigns and event content including email invitations, digital assets, speaker bios, and social media teasers to drive broker attendance and engagement.
- Deliver on-site support including welcome coordination, check-in, materials management, and speaker liaison while managing photography, video, and testimonials for post-event marketing.
- Develop and manage weekly broker bulletins when required by collaborating with underwriting.
- Create engaging content across digital platforms including social media, newsletters, website, and intranet; write and edit materials for bulletins, invitations, and news updates aligned with brand guidelines.
- Produce marketing collateral and merchandise supporting campaigns and broker communications; assist with updating corporate materials and ensuring compliance with design procedures and brand standards.
- Manage digital marketing activities including email campaigns, webinars, Salesforce campaign setup and management, and website CMS updates to support broader marketing objectives.
- Develop and maintain internal and external templates for newsletters, bulletins, invitations, and communications to ensure consistency and streamline content production.
- Manage real-time social media coverage and produce event reports with attendance metrics, engagement data, and ROI analysis to measure effectiveness.
- Execute post-event follow-up including feedback collection, attendee nurture campaigns, and content distribution to sustain engagement and maximize event impact.
Wider Marketing Support
- Adhere to risk and compliance controls including approvals process, logo licenses, and training.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Senior Marketing Manager.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a marketing department or agency preferably within the financial services/insurance sector.
- CIM qualified, or prepared to study for CIM marketing qualification.
- Ability to travel and support events outside of standard working hours when needed.
- Expertise in e-mail and other online marketing systems.
- Self-management, planning and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and an ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communications.
