This role will be reporting into the Head of Transformation Execution, as part of the Transformation and Change Delivery team for LM Re. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of an agreed and evolving set of transformation initiatives. The Delivery Lead is also responsible for implementing, maintaining and championing agile practices at the portfolio level.
This role will be initially focussed on working with the change and delivery teams to ensure alignment across the business objectives and delivery roadmap, while working with colleagues across Business Agility and technology to successfully deliver. In this role, you will lead in the execution of your projects, tracking progress against the enterprise roadmap milestones, as well as measuring strategic initiative performance against key objectives. Monitoring project performance and delivery health through metrics focused on velocity, quality and predictability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders, contributors and suppliers to ensure new initiatives and deliverables are understood, evaluated, prioritised and implemented to plan and to budget.
- Support the teams by understanding the roadmaps and working with and coaching delivery teams to identify where potential blockers or impediments to delivery are.
- Run, manage and close projects and other initiatives in accordance with Agile practices, accountable for the full end to end project lifecycle.
- Ensure that a suitable BAU transition plan is in place for projects within the delivery that addresses the readiness of users, the testing and compatibility of systems and the realisation of benefits.
- Liaise with Change colleagues to engage and manage stakeholders and for advice and support in producing relevant Change, Communications and Training artefacts to support embedding the change as appropriate.
- Develop and share the necessary documentation and reports to enable program success. Ensure documentation and reporting evolves as defined by the LM Re governance framework.
- Produce Change Delivery Board reporting packs that provide a status of the delivery, escalation of key issues/blockers and spotlights where required, ensuring they are complete, accurate and current and work with the delivery teams to ensure they provide the information necessary to gain relevant support.
- Facilitate program processes and practices, managing risks and impediments across the delivery raised by the scrum masters and teams within the program.
- Undertake all aspects of the program planning process and then maintain and manage program increment plans, taking account of business value, dependencies and resources.
- Facilitate the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the agile program.
- Drive cross team, portfolio, and departmental planning, collaboration, coordination and resolution of impediments.
- Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilising feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity.
- Participate with management and cross-functional teams as subject matter expert to develop and improve operating policies and procedures and be an advocate in adopting Agile best practices and processes.
- Identify and develop processes, policies, and procedures to facilitate the working relationship between the portfolios and other business functions / partners.
- Support the configuration of Scaled Agile to the needs of the organisation, standardising and documenting practices.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
- Work with the Portfolio Head, Sponsor, Product Owners and Business teams to support the delivery and creation of program requirements and solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Transformation Execution team in line with our colleagues across GRS and the ambitions of the Office of Operations.
- Identify resource requirements and constraints across the delivery, ensuring horizon scanning and solutions have been identified to meet the delivery roadmap.

Skills and Experience:
- Broad experience with program & project standards, governance and methods, including Agile methods.
- Proven program delivery experience with a good understanding of business and systems analysis as well as change management.
- Demonstrable focus on successful delivery of multi department / business area programs of work including IT elements.
- Project management qualification (preferably certified Agile practitioner and MSP Managing Successful Programmes).
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement (including vendors).
- Practical experience of working in an Agile delivery team, ideally at a release train level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of Insurance/Reinsurance business and technology and/or experience leading similar programs is preferable but not essential.
