About the Role

As an Engineering & Cloud Services Operations Analyst you will support the Engineering & Cloud Services (ECS) team to deliver compliant, resilient and efficient platform and database services. Reporting to the ECS Services Team Lead, you will help maintain compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks (including DORA and IT controls), support audit activities, participate in incident management and supplier liaison, and contribute to service improvement and automation workstreams.

About the Department & Team

GRS International (GRSI) COO and CIO functions are co accountable to deliver and run Digital Capability and services across GRSI Brands (LSM and LMRe) and regions. GRSI works closely with Global Risk Solutions (GRS) technology teams to deliver innovative solutions and capabilities that leverage our technical expertise, business understanding and partnerships to enable market‑leading performance world-wide. The GRSI TSM report to GRSI CIO and are accountable for Service and Engineering Excellence delivering a range of services such as Digital Workplace, Cloud & Engineer Services for bespoke LSM and LMRe Applications and Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance and control activities for DORA, IT controls and related regulatory or internal frameworks; prepare and maintain evidence and documentation for audits.
  • Assist with coordination of internal and external audits: gather artifacts, respond to auditor queries and track remediation actions.
  • Participate in incident management: assist with triage, investigation, remediation coordination and post‑incident reviews.
  • Monitor service health and SLAs; create and maintain operational dashboards, produce reports and elevate trends, risks or recurring issues to the Lead.
  • Act as a first‑line liaison with suppliers (e.g., GDS DBA Managed Services, tooling vendors) to track deliverables, SLA performance and vendor action items.
  • Contribute to service roadmap and automation initiatives: document processes, validate automations, and maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate operational and compliance documentation, configuration records and change logs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (infrastructure, applications, security, risk, delivery) to support deployments, assurance activities and change processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in technical operations, IT service management, IT compliance support, database support or a related role.
  • Practical understanding of IT compliance and controls; familiarity with DORA or equivalent regulatory frameworks is desirable.
  • Experience supporting audits, evidence collection and remediation tracking, or experience working in regulated environments.
  • Exposure to incident management and service monitoring processes/tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset for identifying problems and driving process improvements.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed with regular, clear updates, works effectively in ambiguous or regulated environments, and is comfortable following change control processes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, ITSM, ticketing, and documentation tools e.g., ServiceNow, Datadog, Azure Monitor, Splunk, Confluence, Jira.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

  • Experience with or exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, change management and Agile ways of working.
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, cloud certifications (Azure/AWS) or compliance/security credentials.
