The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our manufacturing units, working a 12Hr shift rota system. The role is challenging but rewarding, where we encourage people to work autonomously solving problems to keep the manufacturing units running effectively.

The Role:
- Reporting to the team leader, assisting in the efficient operation of the electrical function.
- React as first line response to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs effectively.
- Follow routine and condition-based maintenance schedules as generated in Infor (maintenance management system).
- Provide accurate and sufficient feedback for the day engineering team through Internal Software System.
- Undertake improvement projects under supervision of the day engineering team as required by the business.
- Undertake electrical engineering activities on shift to comply with all internal and external health, safety and environmental requirements, specifically including the Permit to Work System, High & Low Voltage Safety Rules and Isolation and Immobilisation procedures.
The Requirements:
- Recognised Electrical apprenticeship (ONC level or equivalent)
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work with technical data.
- Good level of problem-solving awareness
- Electrical experience of heavy industrial systems.
- Experience in various PLC, HMI and SCADA based control systems would be of benefit.
- The key is your ability to identify a problem, implement a solution and look to prevent reoccurrence.
- The use of our CMMS maintenance system to locate spares, job technical descriptions, risk assessments and provide feedback is a core part of your role.
The Working Pattern:
This includes 12-hour day and night shifts on a rota pattern.
