Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading distributor in recruiting a Logistics Supervisor based in Luton. The salary is up to £33,000, depending on experience, plus numerous company benefits, including 25 days holiday and more!
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the depot. This is an operational hands-on role and other duties will include:
- Making sure the company vehicles are maintained
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting Depot KPIs
- Ensuring that the depot and all staff, contractors and visitors adhere to Health and Safety
- Driver supervision (Including Timesheets, Appearance/Uniforms, Documentation) and the implementation of driver training
- General administration support
- Ensuring the depot is up kept and required maintenance carried out
As an individual, it is essential that you have previous experience operating at a similar level and logistics knowledge. Any knowledge of logistics, transport or warehousing in healthcare sectors, such as NHS, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc., will be advantageous.
