Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established organisation in the search for a Learning & Development Specialist to join their People team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to design and deliver engaging learning solutions that support employee development, enhance organisational capability and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Based in Portsmouth, paying circa £50,000.

This is a full-time, office-based position offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking business.

What you'll do: Design, develop and deliver engaging learning solutions across classroom, virtual and digital learning environments.

Create high-quality learning content to support onboarding, compliance, technical skills and professional development.

Partner with managers to identify learning needs and develop effective training programmes.

Facilitate workshops, training sessions and development programmes for employees across the business.

Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learning records, reporting and compliance remain up to date.

Produce learning reports and analyse data to support business decisions and identify development opportunities.

Coordinate apprenticeship programmes, early careers initiatives and work experience placements.

Monitor emerging learning technologies and best practice to continually enhance learning delivery.

The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within a Learning & Development role Proven experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions across multiple learning platforms Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies Experience using e-learning tools such as Articulate 360, Rise or Storyline Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital learning technologies CIPD Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources or equivalent experience desirable
