Role Overview: Liberty Recruitment Group is proud to be representing a fantastic client in their search for a Field Care Supervisor. In this rewarding role, you'll support our care workforce, ensure high-quality service delivery, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Service Users every day. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will oversee care packages, guide and mentor Care Workers, coordinate visits, and ensure each individual receives personalised, safe, and professional care. This position offers ongoing training, wellbeing support, and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a supportive and friendly organisation.
Your Responsibilities:
- To promote a caring environment for Service Users through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the Service Users.
- To ensure that each Service User receives care appropriate to their individual need.
- To implement the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
- Management of Service User care packages.
- Management of Care Workers.
- Liaison with a professional network, Service User network and other members of the community where relevant.
- Care Coordinating: to ensure each Service User's care bookings are covered, ensuring enough travel times are allocated between care visits, ensure shadowing visits are arranged for new staff, to ensure visits take place on time and with the right care worker, monitor ECM logs and compliance, and cross reference actual bookings against planned bookings.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in a care environment within a supervisory or leadership role.
- As a person you will be caring, respectful, highly organised and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with strong numeracy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple demands and unplanned situations.
- Handle sensitive or confidential matters with care and professionalism.
