Our client is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing industry. They are seeking an experienced individual to act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional support and ensuring a first-class customer experience throughout the order process. Based in Chichester, paying up to £28,000 plus an excellent range of company benefits, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
What you'll do:
- Act as an important first point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner
- Provide informed product support and recommend appropriate solutions based on individual customer requirements
- Confirm and communicate delivery lead times clearly, ensuring customer expectations are managed effectively throughout the order process
- Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to ensure customer queries are fully resolved
- Ensure customer enquiries are escalated smoothly where required, maintaining clear communication and keeping customers informed at all stages
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience within a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Confident handling customer queries and resolving issues proactively
- A strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate information
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external customers
- IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office packages
