We are seeking enthusiastic, committed and caring Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or above
- Experience of working with primary-aged children in KS1 or KS2
- Experience of delivering interventions to support pupil progress
- A good understanding of phonics, reading and early maths strategies
- Experience of supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practice
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
- Experience of supporting learning through targeted interventions and classroom support
- Skilled interactions to support children’s communication, learning and development
- Confidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational apps
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive, flexible and reliable approach to work
- High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
