About the Role:

This role will be reporting into the Head of Transformation Execution, as part of the Transformation and Change Delivery team. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for the planning, management and delivery of an agreed and evolving set of transformation initiatives. The Delivery Lead is also responsible for implementing, maintaining and championing agile practices at the portfolio level. This role will be initially focussed on working with the change and delivery teams to ensure alignment across the business objectives and delivery roadmap, while working with colleagues across Business Agility and Technology to successfully deliver.

In this role, you will lead in the execution of your projects, tracking progress against the enterprise roadmap milestones, as well as measuring strategic initiative performance against key objectives. Monitoring project performance and delivery health through metrics focused on velocity, quality and predictability.

About the Department & Team:

Liberty Mutual Reinsurance (LM Re) is one of four core pillars (North America, LII, LM Re and Global Surety) that make up the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) business unit. LM Re is situated in all core global market hubs and offers treaty property, casualty and specialty products across key North America, South America, European, UK, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and other international locations. We provide brokers and cedants with a broad product range through both the Company and Lloyd’s markets and have approximately 200 employees in 13 offices around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders, contributors and suppliers to ensure new initiatives and deliverables are understood, evaluated, prioritised and implemented to plan and to budget.
  • Support the teams by understanding the roadmaps and working with and coaching delivery teams to identify where potential blockers or impediments to delivery are.
  • Run, manage and close projects and other initiatives in accordance with Agile practices, accountable for the full end to end project lifecycle. Ensure that a suitable BAU transition plan is in place for projects within the delivery that addresses the readiness of users, the testing and compatibility of systems and the realisation of benefits.
  • Liaise with Change colleagues to engage and manage stakeholders and for advice and support in producing relevant Change, Communications and Training artefacts to support embedding the change as appropriate.
  • Develop and share the necessary documentation and reports to enable program success. Ensure documentation and reporting evolves as defined by the LM Re governance framework.
  • Produce Change Delivery Board reporting packs that provide a status of the delivery, escalation of key issues/blockers and spotlights where required, ensuring they are complete, accurate and current and work with the delivery teams to ensure they provide the information necessary to gain relevant support.
  • Facilitate program processes and practices, managing risks and impediments across the delivery raised by the scrum masters and teams within the program.
  • Undertake all aspects of the program planning process and then maintain and manage program increment plans.
