We are seeking an experienced Radio Plugger with a passion for music to join our team. As a Radio Plugger, you will be responsible for promoting our artists' music to radio stations, securing airplay, and helping them gain the recognition they deserve. If you have a deep understanding of the music scene across multiple genres, a network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of successful radio promotion campaigns, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic radio promotion campaigns for emerging and established artists across a variety of genres.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with program directors, music directors, DJs, and other radio industry professionals.
- Identify and target radio stations, formats, and regions that align with the artist's target audience.
- Select the most suitable songs for promotion and create compelling promotional materials.
- Distribute music to radio stations and provide follow-up to secure airplay.
- Monitor and track the progress of radio promotion campaigns, including airplay statistics and chart performance.
- Adapt and adjust strategies as needed to achieve campaign goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates to artists and the company on campaign progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Radio Plugger across various genres of music.
- Strong network of contacts within the radio industry, including program directors, music directors, and DJs.
- In-depth knowledge of the music scene and a passion for promoting artists.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
