We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging visual content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including social media campaigns, promotional videos, and corporate presentations. A strong understanding of public relations and social media management is highly desirable to ensure content resonates with target audiences and enhances our online presence.
Duties
- Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop video concepts that support organisational objectives.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, colour grading, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Ensure all content complies with branding guidelines and maintains a consistent style.
- Optimise videos for different social media channels, considering platform-specific requirements and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing software and techniques to continually improve output quality.
- Assist in managing social media content calendars and scheduling posts related to video content.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound editing, and motion graphics is advantageous.
- Experience in public relations or social media management will be considered a significant asset.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate efficiently with team members and external stakeholders.
