The Vice President of Investor Relations, reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, will develop and implement strategic communications that foster strong relationships with our investors and analysts. This individual will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information about the company’s performance, strategy, and market trends. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial and industry-specific metrics, as well as exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the company’s broader objectives, focusing on enhancing shareholder value. - Communication:
Lead the preparation of communication materials, including quarterly earnings releases, presentations, and annual reports.
Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial media, addressing inquiries and providing insightful commentary.
Support fundraising efforts, investor presentations, and due diligence processes, where needed. - Investor Engagement:
Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and conference calls.
Build and maintain relationships with key institutional investors and analysts to promote a strong understanding of the company’s value proposition. - Market Analysis:
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to inform company strategy and communications.
Provide actionable insights to the executive team based on feedback from the investor community. - Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in investor relations.
Track and respond to changes in equity research and other market analyses that could impact perceptions of the company.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in investor relations, finance, or corporate communications, ideally in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
Experience interacting with senior leadership and Board of Directors is preferred.
