Who you’ll be working with: Join the global Tier 3 Cybersecurity Engineering team who are transforming Liberty’s networking and firewall services, transitioning to cloud environments and Palo Alto firewalls. Experience and skills we need: Extensive experience in designing, implementing and supporting Palo Alto firewalls Experience in AWS and Terraform infrastructure services, using Java or Python for scripting or configuration purposes. Current and valid industry recognised network or cybersecurity certifications A minimum of 7 years Infrastructure, Network or Systems Engineering experience. Experience in playing a lead role in transformation projects related to networking, firewalls or cloud infrastructure. Experience in technical communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders. What you’ll be doing: Contribute to the architecture and lead the delivery of networking solutions, including firewalls, in cloud environments. Have a strong understanding of how the solutions you work on fit into the larger business market and organization, and use that to the set the direction of the project. Work with customers to analyze their business problems, drive out requirements and deliver solutions that meet a real business need. Participate in regular on-call, currently 1 in 7 weeks, as part of the tier 3 incident handling team. Work as a technical lead across the whole delivery lifecycle, making decisions on technologies, and architecting and designing complex systems. Direct, set and constantly review the processes and standards of the team to ensure the delivery of high quality, tested, well performing and secure solutions by the team. Coach, mentor and provide feedback to team. Take responsibility for the technical capabilities of the team, ensuring the whole team is continuously improving and learning together to meet current and future product needs.
