Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in the search for an HR Advisor to join their HR team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. Based in Southampton, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys Employee Relations, working closely with HR Business Partners and providing a high-quality service to employees and managers. You will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on Employee Relations, people data, wellbeing and supporting the wider HR team. Key responsibilities as an HR Advisor: Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and employee lifecycle matters Provide guidance on performance, absence, wellbeing and other people-related matters Conduct exit interviews, maternity risk assessments and other employee meetings as required Analyse people data and trends, producing meaningful management information and insights Support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, wellbeing, retention and performance Work collaboratively with specialist HR teams on wider projects and programmes Support payroll processes, ensuring relevant employee changes are communicated accurately and on time Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation The ideal candidate: CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent Strong generalist HR experience, ideally with good exposure to Employee Relations Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Confident providing practical advice and guidance to employees and managers Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail This role will suit someone who: Enjoys Employee Relations and wants to continue developing their expertise Is comfortable working with both people and data Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a wider HR team Is resilient, adaptable and able to manage changing priorities Is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive employee experience If you’re an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity within a collaborative and professional environment, we would love to hear from you.
