Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and growing organisation in the search for a Group HR Advisor to join their People team on a maternity cover contract.
Reporting into a personable and knowledgeable Head of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business operating across a range of sectors, offering a collaborative and fast-paced working environment.
Based in Basingstoke this is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home), offering a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 plus bonus.
The role
You will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and stakeholders to provide expert HR advice and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance in line with UK employment law and best practice
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Lead or support HR projects across engagement, wellbeing, EDI and change initiatives
- Deliver training and act as a key point of contact for HR queries
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and onboarding
- Maintain and improve HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance
- Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making
- Supporting on ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance
About you
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable
- Manufacturing sector experience advantageous
