The Director of Media Planning is the strategic and analytical backbone at the regional level. You will own a regional cluster of markets (Anglophone Cluster: UK / US / CA / AUS), translating global brand strategy into locally relevant, data-informed campaign architectures — and feeding intelligence back to the centre to sharpen global decision-making. This is a fast-paced account. The brand moves quickly, and short turnarounds are part of the rhythm. You are someone who thrives in that environment: organised, decisive, and able to produce high-quality work at speed without losing strategic rigour. You are also the primary point of contact for local marketing teams across your cluster markets. Excellent communication and presentation skills are central to how this role creates value.

What You Will Do

  • Regional strategy and campaign planning
  • Adapt global strategy into integrated, cluster-specific campaign architectures
  • Develop and own local media plans across your cluster markets, from annual planning through to campaign launch
  • Make clear, evidence-based media mix recommendations grounded in performance data and market insight
  • Brief and manage local media and digital teams, aligning their execution to cluster strategy
  • Consult on local market nuance, cultural context, and campaign timing — bringing the centre and the market into productive alignment
  • Data-led decision making
  • Use performance data and analytics to generate predictive, actionable recommendations — not just reporting
  • Continuously evaluate media mix effectiveness and make optimisation recommendations across channels
  • A clear view of cluster performance against shared KPIs and measurement frameworks
  • Feed market-level intelligence into global quarterly business reviews and planning cycles
  • Client and stakeholder management
  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact for local marketing teams across all markets in your cluster
  • Lead regional QBRs with a clear performance narrative and planning recommendations
  • Manage multiple client relationships across geographically dispersed markets, with the responsiveness and clarity that a fast-moving account demands
  • Operate within a clear RACI: accountable for regional plan quality, consulted on global strategy
  • Collaboration and ways of working
  • Work as an integrated member of the central team, reporting to the Global Business Lead
  • Partner with the Digital Hub, Transformation & Enablement team
  • Contribute to shared infrastructure: naming conventions, data dashboards, planning standards, and ways of working across 30 markets

What We Are Looking For

  • 7-10 years of experience planning media across international or multi-market environments
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt global or regional strategy into local campaign architectures with clear media mix rationale
  • Strong data and performance analytics capability to translate numbers into strategic direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to and managing senior client stakeholders across multiple markets simultaneously
  • Able to work at pace, meet short turnaround requests, and maintain quality under pressure
  • Strong English language skills — English is the working language of the central team and the primary language of client communications

Advantageous

  • Experience with the home appliance / lifestyle category
  • Familiarity with AI-powered planning or intelligence tools
  • Additional language skills relevant to your cluster region
