This is a rare opportunity for a mid-level planning specialist to step into a freelance contract without sacrificing the substance, scale, or senior exposure of a full-time role. The role starts immediately, so if you've been waiting for the right moment to make the move into contracting, or looking for your next gig, read on!

The model itself is new, part strategic consultancy, part data intelligence unit, part media planning engine. You'll own a full regional cluster (UK, US, Canada, Australia), translating global brand strategy into locally relevant campaign architectures. And because it's freelance, you keep the flexibility.

Regional Strategy & Campaign Planning
  • Own local media plans across your cluster markets, from annual planning through to campaign launch
  • Translate global brand strategy into cluster-specific, integrated campaign architectures
  • Make evidence-based media mix recommendations grounded in performance data and market insight
  • Brief and manage local media and digital teams, aligning execution to cluster strategy
  • Consult on local market nuance, cultural context, and campaign timing
Data-Led Decision Making
  • Turn performance data and analytics into predictive, actionable recommendations — not just reporting
  • Feed market-level intelligence into global quarterly business reviews and planning cycles
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact for local marketing teams across your cluster
  • Lead regional QBRs with a clear performance narrative and forward-looking planning recommendations
  • Work as an integrated member of the central team, reporting to the Global Business Lead
  • Partner with the Digital Hub and Transformation & Enablement team
  • Contribute to shared planning infrastructure — naming conventions, data dashboards, and ways of working across 30 markets

7+ years planning media across international or multi-market environments. Proven ability to adapt global strategy into local campaign architectures with clear media mix rationale. Strong data and performance analytics capability — you translate numbers into strategic direction. Ability to work at pace, deliver on short turnarounds, and maintain quality under pressure. Familiarity with AI-powered planning or intelligence tools. Additional language skills relevant to the cluster region.

You retain control of your time, build breadth of experience faster, and — in many cases — significantly increase your earning potential.
