This is working for a premium, Global education brand. Reporting to the head of Content / AD, the integrated designer is responsible for strong ideas, work across multiple projects and have a core understanding of all key stages required to move an idea from its pure form to creating collateral across multiple channels on and offline.

Integrated Designer Specifics

  • Create inspiring and exciting content from social to print media.
  • Superb communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A demonstrated commitment to excellence in design execution and quality control with strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent engagement skills, with the ability to pro-actively organize and pitch ideas.
  • An understanding of UX and the latest social and digital technology trends.
  • Strong project management skills, teamed with an aptitude for managing multiple projects seamlessly.
  • An innate creative flair, strong concept skills – full of ideas across to be deployed across all available media.
  • Brand development - A core understanding of brand building and physical branding essential.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of industry experience, or 2–4 years in a design agency or freelance role.
  • Conceptual thinking: The ability to take complex ideas and transform them into compelling visuals.
  • Design skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, some experience in web design, including video editing After Effects, and Premiere would be a benefit.
  • Strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • An understanding how to work across online banners (static and animated), social media posts (primarily Instagram and Facebook), web design, UI design and storytelling.
  • An understanding of responsive design across all digital platforms.
  • Working on print-based collateral with great knowledge of branding.
  • The ability to talk through your ideas confidently with the team and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in or higher in a relevant creative / design based subject.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of industry experience, in a design agency, brand or freelance capacity.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a solid understanding of digital and print design, extended understanding of graphic design including typography and composition with a proven understanding of launching creative ideation from campaign to content; video editing a bonus.
