We are looking for someone on behalf of an independent media agency based in London. The ideal candidate is highly organised with strong time management skills, curious and eager to learn about advertising and media, and comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
You will gain experience and skills in various performance media specialisms across online or offline media within a dynamic and innovative working environment, while benefiting from excellent training and development opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in both the planning and activation of performance media campaigns, including activation, optimisation, and performance of Paid Social and Programmatic campaigns. You will also contribute to media planning, channel strategy, and campaign recommendations across the wider media mix.
This role reports directly to an Account Director and works closely with other areas of the business depending on the project. You'll build deep expertise in Paid Digital Channels while developing planning and activation skills across the wider media landscape, giving you the opportunity to progress into a rounded Media Planning & Buying professional.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of integrated media plans before leading the activation, optimisation, and reporting of campaigns across Paid Social and wider digital media.
- Being the day-to-day point of contact, building strong client relationships.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of how different media channels fit into a plan and confidently explaining their role to others across all media channels.
- Supporting activation across Google Ads, YouTube, Display, and Programmatic.
- Building long-term relationships with strategic partners and managing media agency outputs to ensure peak performance.
- Monitoring campaign performance and making proactive suggestions to improve performance against client KPIs.
- Utilising tracking reports to monitor progress against financial goals/targets.
- Delivering comprehensive reporting, presenting actionable insights and performance.
- Staying ahead of media trends and exploring new, innovative opportunities within the digital media landscape.
Required skills include proficiency in Excel, understanding of measurement and tracking (including tag implementation), and knowledge of social media platforms (predominantly Meta Ads Manager and TikTok performance analysis preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working with both internal stakeholders and clients.
