We're working with our client, a great independent media agency, specialising in Brand Response and Performance Media, to find an ambitious Account Director ready to broaden their expertise from Paid Digital into truly integrated planning and buying.
You'll already know how to plan, activate and optimise digital campaigns (Paid Social, Programmatic, CTV, OLV, Display and more), now you're ready to lead wider channel strategies spanning TV, Radio, Out of Home, Audio and Print too. No channel silos here: this agency doesn't create narrow specialists, they build rounded Media Planning & Buying professionals.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as day-to-day client lead — building trusted relationships and owning planning delivery across your client portfolio
- Leading the development of integrated media plans, overseeing activation, optimisation and reporting
- Managing and developing a team, coaching junior members and helping them grow
- Working with BD and senior leads to spot and shape new commercial opportunities
- Staying ahead of the curve on media and marketplace trends
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience activating Paid Digital campaigns (Social & Programmatic Display), with exposure to CTV, OLV, Display, Audio, Native, DOOH and App advertising
- Confident with Excel and comfortable with measurement/tracking (tag implementation, analytics platforms)
- Proven experience managing and developing people, with the ability to delegate effectively
- A logical, curious problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills — confident presenting to clients and prospective clients
- A degree isn't essential if you've got the relevant industry experience
What's in it for you:
- Generous annual leave (23 days + birthday & extra Christmas days)
- IPA-accredited training and structured development plans
- Private healthcare, including mental health support and 24-hour GP access
- Hybrid working, season ticket loans, and cycle to work scheme
- A genuinely social, close-knit team culture — regular socials, a Culture Committee, and Pizza Wednesdays
- Sabbatical opportunities based on length of service
If you're a Paid Digital specialist looking to become a genuinely integrated media planner, with the ambition to lead client relationships and a team, we'd love to hear from you.
