In partnership with Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program which endeavors to develop continuous quality improvement processes that enhance person-centered service delivery and support to people who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, so they may live their best lives. To support this initiative, Liberty is now hiring for multiple full-time Senior Quality Specialist positions.

As a Senior Quality Specialist, your daily work will involve:

  • Traveling to Targeted Case Management provider locations throughout the region
  • Meeting in-person with Developmental Disabilities Administration stakeholders including Coordinators of Community Services and waiver participants
  • Collaborating with Coordinators of Community Services
  • Reviewing and evaluating person centered plans to determine alignment with best practices
  • Providing technical assistance and training
  • Data collection, analysis and report writing

This is a field-based position which will require regular travel throughout the region. Travel is estimated at 50%.

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • At least four years of experience supporting people living with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of person-centered practices
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Consultative approach and ability to achieve rapport with a wide array of individuals
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the region

You must have a driver’s license and insured vehicle which you can use for work-related travel. You are encouraged to apply if you’ve worked as a Coordinator of Community Services and have experience in Home and Community-Based Services waiver programs and person-centered planning.
